    This table is great for over-the-bed use (like a hospital table) and the tilt-top feature has a ledge which makes it easy to hold a laptop computer or electronic bookreader at the right angle and level without slipping off the table while using it in bed or over your lap while sitting on a chair, couch or recliner. I ordered this tilt-top table and had it overnighted and the cost was equivalent to another similar tilt-top table that cost more as well as had many negative customer comments. The Ameriwood table was easy to assemble (took about 20 minutes) and it looks great over the bed or lowered to a height that accommodates a recliner. I can honestly say that I can't think of one bad thing to say about this table that came to our rescue during a family member's convelescense and has remained a useful item in our day-to-day lives. It's a great little table at a very affordable price.

    I use it for my laptop and use the side unit for the mouse and for eating. The tilt laptop side works great and the height adjustment works fine. Unit wobbles slightly but works fine with a laptop.
