My son just started crawling so we were looking for something that we could use in our living room (where the laptop lives most of the time) that would be convenient for us but would hide the cords a little bit. Although it's not exactly what I was looking for, this laptop cart works well. The wood seems thick and sturdy and I love the color. I like that the front wheels will lock in place, since my baby likes to move things back and forth and I imagine that the moving the cart would become a game for him. The assembly went very easily, considering I had a 7 month old crawling around and my attention was drawn away every 10-15 minutes, I still had it together in an hour and a half and I imagine would go much quicker with focused attention. [...].In my ideal world, I would have the option of the top swiveling while the bottom remained stationary. I really would like something that I could just twist over the arm of the couch and then push back with out having to move the whole cart. However after searching the internet, I don't think it exists. This cart is a good alternative. Also the base board where they advertise the option of placing a printer is awkward since I can't put it over my lap with out having to place my feet on the bottom.
