We bought this desk for our homeschooled Kinder aged child. She loves it! We set her computer screen on the hutch and her keyboard goes right in front of her. The keyboard can be easily moved to the top of the hutch when we need more writing room, however it will not fit underneath the hutch, which would have been nice.

It's the perfect size for a 5 year old, with some growing room. We plan on buying the same desk for our 3 year old.

First, let me say that I like the design and style of this desk a lot...it is perfect for my 7-yr old second grader, as well as my 5 yr old kindergartener. We purchased two desks in white for Christmas gifts. HOWEVER, [...]two of the pre-installed screws fell out of the underside of the desk, and could not be screwed back in, as the wood in the screw hole had stripped. One of these screws fell out of the drawer slide/guide under the desk, which could cause problems if it comes loose. Overall I like these desks, but I was disappointed with these flaws.

    I bought this little desk for my seven year old. It is the perfect size desk for her. The wood is beautiful and the product is well-made. I assembled it myself within a fairly short amount of time. We are very pleased with KidKraft.

    Service and delivery comments:

    I ordered this desk early in the week and it was here by Friday without having to pay extra for quicker delivery. The product was in excellent condition upon arrival. My only recommendation would be that the delivery driver actually get a signature instead of leaving the product on the door-step. I would have been very displeased had the desk gotten wet.

      After getting the order placed, sent with plenty of time before Christmas, FedEx drops this box and tears, punches holes and dents the entire box. So it looks like we have to return it if its as badly damaged when we open the package on Christmas day. All the good service at Hayneedle is wasted if the shipper damages the merchandise in transit!
