You can expect only high-quality hand-crafted construction with this Haugen Traditional Oak Rolltop Single Pedestal Desk. The vintage rolltop design with a hand-rubbed lacquer finish is perfect for any room in your home. This desk comes fully assembled and was crafted entirely in the United States. Four drawers (the bottom drawer has a faux front) give you plenty of space to store all your supplies.

 

Haugen only uses the best solid wood products - no particle board. Haugen applies a seven-step finishing process and superior hand-rubbed lacquer finish, and all Haugen Furniture is hand-crafted in the USA in the "Tradition of the Old Masters."

            I couldn't wait to get this desk, and I was so happy with everything about it. It is absolutely beautiful.
            You can see the workmanship in the entire desk, the rolltop makes it even more functional.
            I looked a long time for just the right desk to put in my kitchen area to keep bills and paper work organized, this was the one. You will not be disappointed in this beautiful, made in the USA desk, I love it.

              I am budget-minded, but I try to get good value even if that means paying a little more. This desk is very good value. This sturdy not-too-heavy piece is compact enough to fit in a small room, yet roomy enough for most of my papers to be stacked in the drawers and spread on the desktop. The rolltop hides the work area when not in use, calming a spouse who dislikes seeing what she mistakes for disorganization. The only drawbacks are (1) there is no hole for running Mac Mini computer cables through the back (I could drill one but I am reluctant to mess with the design), and (2) the rolltop is too low to accomodate my 13" high computer monitor, which I must park on the top shelf when I close the rolltop. The latter is a function of the desk's design as a writing desk; it is not a flaw. And what a pleasure to have new furniture not made of particleboard!
