Riverside Cantata Executive L-Shaped Computer Desk

When papers pile up in the middle of the day, it's easy to think you could get more done if you had twice as many arms. We can't give you extra hands, but we can give you the fully loaded Riverside Cantata Executive L-Shaped Computer Desk, a rich traditional desk with twice the space of typical desks, thanks to heartily sized return. Together, they're packed with storage space, built-in outlets, and special features sure to increase your maximum output.

The desk is crafted from durable poplar hardwood solids, birch veneers, and cherry veneer tops, matched and finished in a warm, stately burnished cherry. All drawers in the main desk and return are mounted on full-extension, ball-bearing guides. The main desk features one round metal grommet with a cap for wiring access in each back corner of the top panel, while the return is outfitted with one in the right back corner. The flattened bun feet have built-in base levelers to keep everything in its right place.

When we say this desk and return are fully loaded, we aren't kidding. Both the desk and return boast a pullout, drop-face knee drawer that can be utilized as a laptop, keyboard, or work surface - or as a conventional drawer - with a wiring hole at the back. The main desk features a top drawer with a built-in double electrical outlet at the back and a removable, felt-lined pen-and-pencil tray. A double-hinged door wraps around the side of the desk and offers full access to a center adjustable shelf and a bottom pullout printer shelf mounted on smooth, full-extension, ball-bearing guides. The doored area has a hidden back panel door for full access from behind the desk, too, with a wiring access hole in the bottom panel and a ventilation slot on the inside end panel.

On the right side of the return are three dovetailed drawers. The top felt-bottom drawer contains a felt-lined, triple-partitioned cubby box for storing and charging small electronics - does anyone work without a personal music player anymore? - plus a triple power outlet with cords to each partition of the cubby box. The center drawer has two removable, adjustable dividers so you can keep supplies and paper separate from important documents, and the bottom file drawer accommodates letter or legal hanging file folders. To top it all off, there's even a sturdy corner shelf in the kneewell area for housing additional computer accessories, software, and office supplies.
