The desk is crafted from durable poplar hardwood solids and birch and cherry veneers matched and finished in a warm, stately burnished cherry. All drawers and pullout shelves in the main desk and return are mounted on smooth, full-extension, ball-bearing guides. Both the desk and return have built-in base levelers, too, and the center drawers of each are interchangeable to accommodate either a left-hand or right-hand preference. Fit the two pieces together to create a super-functional piece that slips easily into any corner, maximizing office floor space.

The main desk features a locking left-hand door that opens to a center adjustable shelf perfect for printer paper, a lower pullout shelf, a power control panel, and a small supply drawer. Wiring access holes in the back panel and inside end panel, along with a ventilation slot on the inside end panel, keep cords in order and equipment cool. Above the left-hand door is a pullout writing shelf ideal for small tasks for a working lunch. The center drop-face drawer can be utilized as either a keyboard or laptop work area or can function as a conventional drawer.
