All the finishes are hand-rubbed to create a time-worn look with a little antique charm. After applying several coats of finish, the entire product is covered with our specially formulated Resistec varnish. Prior to applying the Resistec, a special catalyst is added that hardens the surface, making it resistant to scratches, heat, cold, common household chemicals, and even nail polish remover.
