I received the desk and assesmebled it by myself in less than 2 hours and I'm a 5' 2" female. The instructions are easy to follow - pictures for each step and if you take the time to organize the pieces before you get started, it's not hard at all. I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about that the desk doesn't stay together. It's very sturdy. Yes, the screws are loose...if you don't actually tighten them. Everything lined up perfectly and it couldn't have gone smoother.
The desk looks exactly as pictured. It comes in two heavy boxes: 1 is the glass top (says 91 lbs) and the other box is the rest of the desk (says 150 lbs).

I was so excited to get this desk...until I started putting it together. First it arrived with damaged pieces...including the glass top. Still haven't received the replacement piece. Second, the desk does not want to stay together. You cannot move it...even slightly or the pegs pull out even after they are "locked" in place. It's almost as if the pegs are not long enough and whatever is locking them in place just doesn't match up. I am truly disappointed as I searched and searched for a desk and kept coming back to this one. It's beautiful...but not worth all the frustration and worry that it is just going to fall apart.
